ADM + Vista 64-bits

Trying to get it to work (with 64 bits JRE 6U1) and it actually mostly works, except:
QuickDial (does nothing)
Audio (nothing happens when I get a call and test button also does nothing)

Are there known issues with the QuickDial and/or Audio on Vista?

Try compatibility mode

Volume control works for me on Vista 32 bit when ADM.exe is run in Windows XP compatibility mode. It lowers and raises the volume but does ignore the fade time.

problem: vista volume control

Does anybody have a solution for this vista volume problem?

for development i found this advice for vista environment:
Using IAudioEndpointVolume interface methods (SetMute, SetMasterVolumeLevelScalar)

i'm not a application-developer, so i can't fix it myself.

Not the problem

If quickdial does nothing (but can see the quickdial box) then the problem is your configuration with the ADM prefs (context and channels to watch)

As for volume ...open the windows volume panel (where all the sliders are)

Select the master volume or equivalent from the ADM Vol prefs box (ctl + click to select multiple channels)

Click test ..you should see the volume go down.

In the windows volume panel

In the windows volume panel only the slider for 'application' ADM goes down, but this does not effect the 'device' speakers (selected all from prefs box in ADM) so even if the slider for ADM is at 0 the sound from the speakers is still at the original level.

As for quickdial: *blush* me feels really stupid (wrong value for source)

BTW thnx for all the help

Vista 64 ADM no volume control

I am also on Vista 64 and everything seems to work except Volume.
My options are 1) internal speaker/headphone, 2) microphone, 3) SPDIF but in volume I get two views (devices & applications). I see the internal speaker/headphone but it does nothing and the slider does not move.
